Marielle Pohlmann, born in South Germany in 1987, is a Berlin-based film editor.

She specializes in crafting stories for innovative documentary formats and international co-productions across cinema, television, and online streaming platforms. Her projects have been featured at prominent film festivals, including CPH:DOX, Locarno Film Festival, International Film Festival Shanghai, DocsMX, and Solothurner Filmtage. They have been broadcast on both international and national networks such as ARTE, Al Jazeera, ZDF, BR, and have also been streamed on platforms like Amazon Prime.

Her work often centers on films that address socio-political issues, intercultural conflicts, and personal struggles. With a focus on character-driven storytelling, she aims to create films that evoke empathy and connect audiences to the protagonists, offering fresh perspectives.

Having spent part of her life in South America, Marielle frequently collaborates on projects with a Spanish or Latin American cultural focus.
